Type of construction: Brick on brick

We have been building for several decades successful and individually customized for our clients. Brick on brick with Ytong or Termoacilla, load-bearing walls and solid floors as well as back ventilated, visable roof truss. The crossings between brick and concrete are isolated, so that the temperature stays the same. This prevents condensation water and mold formation. The horizontal barrier stops the water from coming through the soil – one of the biggest problems whilst building a house on Majorca.

And always with our usual outstanding, excellent German quality. We conform to the German VOB (construction industry) for all work on the building sites and in our architecture offices,

The architecture, the planning and the building of several objects from Dressler & Partner on Majorca, start in our office for architecture in Puerto Andratx. The implementation of all our construction work is managed and controlled by professional German master craftsmen. For all structural and building physical calculations Dressler & Partner works together with the German engineering office, Keller, from Tübingen.
The construction company and the office for architecture on Majorca use loadbearing walls, visible wooden trusses and horizontal barriers which stop humidity. All the works are orientated on to the German VOB (construction industry). Advantage of the carrying wall construction, is the full surface weight ablation into the soil, instead of point load transfer which is usual in Spanish skeleton construction. From the point of view of building physics, the benefits are perfect indoor climate, which gets regulated through the masonry, which is usually aerated concrete. The crossings between brick and concrete are isolated, so that the temperature stays the same. This prevents condensation water and mold formation. The horizontal barrier under the whole masonry makes it impossible for humidity to come through the soil, one of the biggest problems whilst building a house on Majorca.
